Hi I'm new here I have a 95 ram 1500 with a 5.9 I'm trying to turn it into a 408 stroke but my issue is i cant find anyone to tune it does anyone know who can tune obd1

I dont want to go carb I know they were tuning them before they would install a chip in the ecu but i cant find anyone to do it

OBD1 tuners are a rare breed these days. You're going to have to hunt far and wide to find one for a Magnum engine. Carb or OBD2 swap are probably going to be your only options, but you might find someone.

My recommendation would be to swap out the SBEC engine controller for a JTEC engine controller along with a matching wiring harness. Build the 408CI stoker and you can use an intake manifold designed for MPI fuel injection. That way you have several different choices for intake manifolds and tuning will be so much easier.
