I have a 2015 ram 1500 with 3.0L ecodiesel. I think I have a problem with my EGR valve. For some months ago, my intake cought fire. It was repaired, and now my truck wont go right. When I idle, max rpm I get when i press the throttle to the bottom is about 2800 rpm. It also has little power when I drive. I did some search on google, and learned that a leak in the EGR coolant can cause problems. I have noticed that my coolant level has dropped. When I diagnose my car, it has two faults. P0299, turbocharger underboost and P200A, intake manifold runner performance-bank1. I have replaced my MAP sensor. The old one was burnt on the end. The end of it was gone! If I remove the entire EGR system on the car, and reprogram the ECU, will that solve my problem? What do you guys think? When I did the diagnose tonight, I also got two pending faults:p06bb and P06bb-00, cylinder 3 glow plug circuit performance. Theese two last ones I was able to delete, but not the two regarding the turbo, as they are permanent. What can I do?

If your in park and push the accelerator to the floor, the engine rpms will max out about 2800 rpms (Built in rev limiter).
If there is problems with the intake swirl valves the truck may not run correctly. As for deleting the EGR assembly, do your research on tuners carefully, I've heard way to many horror stories about SFT and Reckless (EcoDieselUSA).

After driving 5 minutes, i got another error in my display: service electronic throttle control. Is this associated with my EGR?

This has been discussed over at ram1500diesel forum at length.

Here was my intake after 423,000 miles. I ran an older GDE tune that had the soot recirculator turned off. If only the EPA could be held responsible for their requirement / the intake fires. The tune also turned off pre and post injections to save fuel and keep unburnt diesel out of the oil hence oil stays relative clean for the whole 10k change interval. Eliminated the foolish trivial check engine lights as well. Better mileage or power can add turbo brake. I read good things about MRTunings from EOC Ecodiesels of Canada as well. Below shows how clean IMO due to the tune and T6 oil with quality filter every 10k.
