Saw this on Ebay and messaged the seller. They have the donor vin# and state that there is no damage to the screen BUT they have not tested the unit. Free shipping / free returns


Edit: this radio and everything in the cab might be pretty damaged.

It looks like the screen goes edge to edge. Somethings up with it?

I think it's missing the outer frame/bezel around the screen.

Edit: Yep. added pictures of my original UAS radio. You can see the frame around the glass.

Possibly, It's not my item and it's make offer with free shipping and free returns for 30 days and Paypal protection. You never know what "make offer" $ will take it? I did specifically ask about the screen and the response was,

The vin came back to a 2018 SLT with a 4C UAS, just as easy as asking for some additional detailed photos. Like I said not my item and just trying to maybe help someone here on the Forum.

Tried to buy a heavily damaged 8.4 MTC bezel off them just for parts ... No go.

They're idea of 'obo' is $5 off !

Take a look a the 7" cluster they have listed, it's missing the top left mounting tab and the lense looks like trash. I'm sorry to admit I started this thread but at least we might all now know that this donor had something horrible happen to the passenger compartment and most if not everything inside is scarred, dirty and damaged.

So I'm pretty sure I just bought this radio. Not the same listing but same seller and pictures look about the same.

Got it yesterday and it was actually pretty clean. Gave it a once over with some alcohol but didn't really get much dirt. Screen had some swirls from what I assume is regular use but nothing really scary. Can't even see the microscratches when it's on.

It was indeed missing the bezel/frame but I made one up with electrical tape and some felt. It doesn't really do anything other than protect the screen from the trim that goes around it.

Anyway, hooked it all up. Got an unlock code from Carman Chrysler over the phone and it's working great. Just need an insert for the media hub on my center console and we're good to go.

Got it for $450 shipped so overall I think it was a pretty good deal.
