Since you have a heavy duty ram, you definitely have the correct antenna on the roof no matter what. Is the blue fakra connector (the adapter extension) plugged into the mustard colored connector on the radio?

Right now everything is plugged into the soft antenna adapter.

I’m not sure what “soft antenna” you’re referring to, got a pic? On your original 5” radio, there was a blue fakra connector plugged into it. All you should need to do is plug that blue connector into the mustard connector on the new radio using the short adapter.

I’m not sure what “soft antenna” you’re referring to, got a pic? On your original 5” radio, there was a blue fakra connector plugged into it. All you should need to do is plug that blue connector into the mustard connector on the new radio using the short adapter.

Will plugging it in directly take a sleep cycle or so to work if not currently?

I wouldn’t *think so*, since it’s a piece of hardware being plugged into the radio, and not a setting change, but who knows.

Just wanna make sure, but yeah my truck never came with sxm from factory. So you are saying the heavy duty’s have the sxm antenna?

It’s a gps antenna (the blue connector), but Sxm can use it too.

Just curious, why would infotainment sell a different hard mount antenna, using that link I sent you, if the stock one would suffice?

What are the part #’s for the radio modules that will work on the on a 8.4 4C NAV screens. Looking to upgrade from a non NAV screen
