Uconnect software

Please don't buy from them. We get a lot of their customers coming to these forums for support. For a 2020 that already has a non-Nav 8.4 radio you only need a new radio. it should be plug and play. The whole "pre-programmed" thing is BS. The radio reads the programming from the BCM. I think there is already a thread in these forums on upgrading the newer radios.

@Roman217 may be able to jump in here. he is the master on all this radio stuff.

I wasn’t advocating anyone purchase from Infotainment. Instead, I was simply providing a link to where Romanclan can see the process of installing a new radio. I was simply reinforcing your statement that it is not a simple software upgrade like one could do on the RA3.

I have a 2016 Ram 1500 and just bought and installed the Uconnect 4C and bought it from the dealership. I need to see if there is a update but I’m not sure since it was made in November 2020. I don’t know if someone who has a 2020 ram with Uconnect 4c will post the update or vin so I can check on the update.
