UConnect Sucks HUGE!!!

After 3 visits to the dealer and countless calls to XM Guardian. I have given up on the UConnect system.

It works fine at the dealers but only works 2% of the time any place else.

We have done every possible thing to the system and still nothing.

I can't even get the remote features to work via the computer.

Honestly I wish I still had my Viper Alarm system....50 times better than UConnect and it worked 100% of the time

Anyone else have this issue and if YES how did you resolve it?

No issues here. Is your problem with XM Guardian or something else related to Uconnect?

No issues here. Is your problem with XM Guardian or something else related to Uconnect?
Both actually.....App doesn't work nor can I do any of the remote commands via the computer either. I have even tried different locations on my computer and still it's always a hit and miss at best

Once I launch the app it always just times out on any remote function I try...same thing when I try on the computer. at best it only works 2 out of 10 times....Yet XM can track me and talk to me via SOS/ASSISTANT no problems.

i agree the Uconnect app and website are the pitts ... yesterday after receiving monthly updates for my wife's trk since we got it in september 2018 i check the Uconnect site and i was NOT the owner so could not change anything .. then added my trk that i bought in november and was the owner and could make changes ... called tech support and they had NO CLUE, never heard of this kind of problem before .. they are working on this problem and will email me when fixed ... i hope Uconnect does not think i will be renewing this **** in a year

I have used the app on my android phone a few times to lock/unlock and to start my truck. has worked fine. takes several seconds to activate the car but has always worked.

I think XM Guardian uses the truck's built in 4G cellular service. I've tried it a few times and in some areas, it worked pretty quickly. In a few others, it was slow or timed out. I presumed that cell service in that area was poor. Sitting here right now at my house, I tried the remote lock. Like the screen said, it took about 30 seconds to complete but actually failed. I do live in a crummy cellular reception area though. In this day and age, you'd think the execution would be pretty instantaneous. I can send a text to someone in Europe in a matter of seconds for example! To be honest, I don't see myself using XM Guardian much if at all. I just don't have a need. When the free intro period expires, I won't be renewing. But that's just me.

2019 Ram 1500 and the App is the latest 3.3.2 I believe. We have deleted the app and reinstalled it several times. XM is just saying it RF interference. Again, if the other guys can get this to work flawless than why not XM?

Just as a test, have you used the Mopar mobile site to test your remote operations? My Android app, v3.3.3, sometimes does not work and in those instances I use the mobile Mopar site to ensure the connectivity is still working.

ok, first thing I have to say is that your problem is with siruis xm guardian not uconnect. Uconnect is not the problem.

Just as a test, have you used the Mopar mobile site to test your remote operations? My Android app, v3.3.3, sometimes does not work and in those instances I use the mobile Mopar site to ensure the connectivity is still working.
Yes, I have tried that as well several times and still nothing.

They have opened a case file for me and they are going to replace the unit. Uconnest and Siruis XM Guardian are sort of one and the same. Even the remote commands from the actual Mopar website won't work. So, I still say the whole thing is garbage lol...but glad if it works for you.

....maybe, and YES I hope they fix it as it's DAM COLD up here in Canada the last few weeks lol
