I have searched everywhere and read through the manuals and I am lost.
2017 1500 with the basic UConnect
I never had any trouble with my iPhone 7. Once I switched to my iPhone 11 I developed an odd problem. If I have new message notifications on my phone (like my wife has text me but I haven't opened it) and then get in my truck, all new message notifications will be cleared without any notification to me through the truck. I understand there not being a notification if the truck announces the incoming message and I listen or press X. However, this is really annoying. I have frequently received messages that I didn't see while getting ready for work or even while at work, then hop in the truck and they all get cleared. The message is still there, I just lose all notification that there is a new one which I haven't seen yet.
Any ideas?
I have tried all the basics up to resetting the phone (completely), deleting the device in the truck and then reconnecting it as new. I am a field service tech for a large company so this issue persisting is quite embarrassing. haha
