40+ years of tin-knocking in new residential! Seen lots of finger bones, only 1 cut tendon!

35 years of service work! Learned oil service first! Nobody likes working on oil!

I don’t know if this counts? Trotting across a basement I was a half step late ducking under the corner of a piece of cut duct! Hit hard enough to go to my knees!



My boss’ kid was with me, laughing of course! He turned to grab me some paper towels! He went silent when he found this hanging from the ductwork!

On another note, the service manager at Friendly CDJR says he believes they will be replacing the engine in my PowerWagon!

I don’t know how excited I am! I don’t know what the availability is for whole engines?

Lots of questions!

Anyone here had theirs replaced?

Service manager says 7-10 days to get the long block! Couldn’t give me a good guess on time to do the swap! I’ll try to keep my thread up to date!

I gotta admit, it’s been almost 10 days! Should I be nervous yet?

I’m told 7-10 days to get it, then a 3 day swap!
