Under floor storage

So I searched the site and you tube and couldn't find anything on someone adding the under floor storage bins if they didn't come in the truck. Not sure what models they came in specifically but mine doesn't have them and I though it would be cool to add them

My Big Horn has them. Did you look under the truck at the rear floor pan to see if you can remove a plate to install the storage bins?

2013 Outdoorsman has them... Not sure what year they became an option, but as far as I can see they only became available in 2013. Also not sure if you have QC or CC? If QC, you are likely SOL in any case, as there isn't room enough between the seats.

In any case, if you have the openings in your metal, (should have a plastic insert) you'll still need to cut the insulation and carpet to install.

I put them in my 2007 Megacab. That was a tight fit!

If you have a crew cab, you shouldn't have any issues as they come with them.

Someone mentioned a quadcab, not sure if you have that, but I bet they wouldn't fit as they do take a fair amount of space.

Yes they are awesome. I can fit a bottle of Jack and a few coke cans down in them.

I have a 16 MegaCab. Definitely going to look into this. I was kinda disappointed when I went to look for them and found nothing.

They hold ice and a 6 pack just fine and the bins come out so you can dump the ice/melted water/empty cans

I think it first came out in the 2013 model year in 1500 crew cabs. Not offered in QC. I like that I have the storage just to have the ability of two mini coolers if I'm at an outdoor function.

pretty sure they came out before then, I had a 2010 1500 crew big horn and almost positive it had them..

My driver's side has a IFAK, roll of TP, LifeStraw, two bottles of water, two pistol mags, and three pairs of socks. I also lock my pistol in there when I can't carry it. Passenger side has a 150' hank of 10mm climbing rope, figure 8, a few carabiners, and a sit harness.
