Mentioned earlier, they are discussing 2WD sports and the V8 and associated transmission is standard on that model. The 4WD Sports are different, their base seems to be the V6. When you selects the $1450 V8 option you are also forced to buy the $500 transmission option, adding up with close to $2000.
True, but if you build one it allows someone to build a V6 Sport, adding the Hemi changes tranny and its another $500 add on...I'm just guessing that's why the sales sheet.

If that were the case, then on his window sticker, there should also be an option line for the 5.7 at $1450.

Just saying that today RAM won't let you build a 2018 V6 2WD sport, like what was mentioned earlier. They will let you build a V6 4WD sport and add the V8 option with the two charges.

More info (see pic) from "2018 Fleet Buyer's Guide - Interactive".

Appears:

EZH/DFK is "5.7L HEMI V8 with VVT and Fuel Saver Technology/8HP70 8-speed automatic (Regular and Crew Cab) (EZH/DFK) and tagged as 26L.

EZH/DFD is "5.7L HEMI V8 with VVT and Fuel Saver Technology/8HP70 8-speed automatic (Quad Cab only) (EZH/DFD) and tagged as 27L.

So the burning question is, why did my regular cab get a package designated for a "Quad Cab only"?
