Today I traded my 18 Ram 1500 Sport in on this new 5th gen Ram 1500 Big Horn night edition. Main reason for the upgrade was to get a crew cab as my daughter were getting to big for the back seat of my quad cab Sport. The dealership gave me above blue book trade in on my 18 and I left about 30 minutes later in the new truck. Overall I am extremely happy with the truck as it has more/better options than my sport had, plus I managed to get one of the few non-etorque hemi night editions here in north Florida. I will be installing my catch can and lowering springs from my 4th gen on this truck over the weekend. Then future mods will be exhaust, pedal commander (or something similar) and tonneau cover. Now for some new truck pictures.

I’m still not sold on the 5th generation Rams.
I felt the same way when they went from 2nd to 3rd generation. Then the headlight and taillight change on the 3rd generation.
The 4th generation was a home run for me.
I’ll always favor the white and black combination.
Looks good!

If you drove one you would surely like it. I still prefer the looks of the 4th gen but man the ride and drive are fantastic, miles ahead of the 4th gen and that new interior is a sight to behold!

I Love it, Many more are sold on the 5th gen, I wasn't crazy about the front end at first but it grows on you, Its like taking the bad with the good, or good with the ugly, sounds like a wedding jingle!!

I didn't like the looks of the front end of the 5th gens when I first saw them, especially the Limited and Longhorn. But that look grew on me over time. It's funny that now I own a Limited, and I like the looks of the front end more than the 4th gens. In fact, I don't think there's a better looking pick up out there right now.

Very nice looking truck. Mine is similar, but I like the night options.
