trucks dirty due to pollen! ordered a set of 6.0 bi-xenon morimoto mini stage III kits. put 5000k hids in the head lights and fog lights. painted the inside of the lights satin black. on to the pictures:

Did you paint everything inside the lights? If so how do your lights compare to stock with them painted and the hids? Trying to figure out something to do to my headlights.

I painted everything on other inside. With projectors the reflectors are useless

I'd do 5k or 6k, more white light and output, IMHO.

Yeah I was gonna do that too but that was a little pricey or me and saved a lot of money doing it myself. If you're mechanically inclined you won't have problems. The kit I have doesn't require cutting at all

Just the headlights was like 300 on The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications. 3k would be way to yellow! That will work for fogs but you want at least 4300k for your heads. When you go over 6k you start getting into blue and purple colors

Been there, done that. Don't do it.

They are great on rainy / foggy days, but the rest of the time, they are just not as bright, and it sucks. Keep the 3ks in the fogs.

What? You should have let people know that sooner!
Would also love to see some output/cutoff shots. Show all these guys putting HIDs in their reflector based housings what HIDs are supposed to look like.
