I thought about that, too, but as far as I know there isn't a box that I could swap to. The box from the 2500s is different and won't fit my 1500.
It will fit

I'll probably go with a PW anyway. Not exclusively for the Ramboxes, but for other things my 2019 doesn't have but a PW would: adaptive cruise control, power-fold mirrors (I currently always have to fold one manually to get into the garage), 360-degree camera, etc.
Sure, I'll probably never need the off-road features it has, but it rides surprisingly well (about the same as my 1500, I'd say) and the view is just magnificent. Sure, as a HD it'll use more gas, true. But they haven't hiked up the prices yet, and a comparably equipped 1500 would put me in almost the same price range.

Sadly, they don't offer the hydro blue anymore :-(

In the web configurator, yes. But all dealers told me that they could not order it anymore. But the Patriot Blue is nice, too.

I have a half ton 5.7 i drive for work and a power wagon that is just my personal dd. The half ton is waayyyyyyy better at everything dd related. Almost gets double the mpg, rides better, feels more nimble and quick…more comfortable all around. And all those features (aside from the power wagon features that you wont use) can be had on a half ton. That being said, you cant get a 6’4” rambox bed in a half ton, so guess you can cross it off there.

No it wont. He has a 5th gen 1500…completely different body than the hd’s.
Same bed I'm pretty sure. I know for a fact a guy did it in a Facebook group I'm in

It might fit with modifications, but it's not the same bed (and would probably look pretty weird). If it were the same bed, they wouldn't have taken that option away, would they?

Nope. Its not. He has a 5th gen. The hd beds still use the old 4th gen body style. They are completely different.

The 4th gen half ton beds (and the new “classics”) are the same as the hd’s…maybe thats what you are referring to.
