Upper control arm for 2 inch struts

I have a 2016 Ram 1500. I just bought a 2 inch leveling struts from Rough country. Do I need to replace the upper control arm? I was told that I have to because the joint ball will pop out. So I I do what do you recommend? Like what brand?
