UPR Catch Can drain plug stuck

Just got my UPR catch can delivered and I ordered it with the drain line kit. My problem is that the drain plug on the bottom of the catch can that I need to remove to install the drain line kit will turn the bottom piece of the can when I try break it loose. Can't get a grip on that lower piece to prevent it from turning. Any ideas?

Do you have a pin wrench to hold the can bottom while you turn out the set screw plug?

Maybe a strap wrench ? Or chuck gently in a vise .

Try using a strap wrench to hold the can. I have used them 100's of times at work taking cylinders apart. They are a wonderful tool to have in your tool box.

Bet an impact driver with just holding the can would break it loose, as long as ya have the hex bit
