Nice find. That's about six bucks less than Amazon has it listed for. I suspect most people would have opted for the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, but PP works well too. Funny you should mention oil. I just received the Red Line 5w-30 oil today for my next oil change. Lets just say it was a bit more expensive than that![]()

Three 5 QUART bottles, maybe?Three 5 gallon bottles of Penzoil Platinum Full Synthetic 0W-20W motor oil. At $62 for all, delivery included. This is less then 1/2 what one would pay for a single Quart per quart. Cost of oil is crazy, and I'm loving this deal.

YUP, Pennzoil sells those "5" QUART Bottles. I buy mine from Walmart online, since I use 5W 20 PUP which is not available here locally. Than of course have to buy "2" singles (quarts) to get to the required magic '7' quart number.Three 5 QUART bottles, maybe?

Most people run whatever oil viscosity is recommended, and many car makers recommend 0w 20. It's likely that literally hundreds of millions of people world wide use it. I'm sure you know at least one of themI don't know anybody who would use 0W-20 in anything
I use 0W20, have for years. No issues. It's not 1950, engineering has evolved in both engines and lubrication.I don't know anybody who would use 0W-20 in anything
Yeah, there's this little company called Toyota (most have never heard of them) that spec'd 0W20 for YEARS, but what do they know about engineering? Most people run whatever oil viscosity is recommended, and many car makers recommend 0w 20. Very well acquainted with Toyota 0w20 & 0w16 synthetic oil and I can personally say based on UOA on tow different engines it's not all that great of oil being many of those 4 banger engines have high fuel contamination of 5% or greater that Toyota thinks is okay and nothing to worry about..I use 0W20, have for years. I still run AT Mobil 1 10W 40 in my 2006 Honda Wing. I run very specific additives/non additive oil, due to oil on a 1832CC Boxer motor, all in one slush pit: Trans/Clutch/Engine.I've never use such light oil either. But that is recommended.
The tight tolerances must be where they are getting 400 to 500hp from these small engines. Tight specs, greater efficiency, requires thinner oils. The 20W-50 of my 1980s motorcycle days is gone.
Demineralized water cheaper ??? Just throw some brown color dye in it?Very well acquainted with Toyota 0w20 & 0w16 synthetic oil and I can personally say based on UOA on tow different engines it's not all that great of oil being many of those 4 banger engines have high fuel contamination of 5% or greater that Toyota thinks is okay and nothing to worry about..
