valve cover gaskets

I have a 2002 Dodge ram 4.7L 1500 vin:1D7HA16N82J251800. I have ordered new valve cover gaskets from Rockauto and also went to my local autozone and both new gaskets did not fit my valve covers. Has anyone else had this problem and if so where can i get the right gaskets for my valve covers?

You could try a Ram dealer in-person, using your VIN.

Or, there are several Mopar part websites that permit you to enter your VIN, so you can select the correct part(s).

The proper part number from FelPro for your 4.7 valve cover gaskets is VS50521R. This part number contains a pair of left and right valve cover gaskets and they have worked for me every time.

The original Mopar part number was 53020878 for the right side and 53020877 for the left side.
