About to get home next week and my new Vararam intake for my 2012 ram is waiting there for me to install. I was just wondering how long/hard it took for install it for anyone else who got one, and if theres any special things to look out for. Thanks!

Just be careful with the IAT sensor. Its not hard to remove, but dont force it. You just twist and it should pull out. There are a few guys who have broke it though.

Full install should take 30 min or less. That includes pulling the old airbox and installing the Vararam and doing it the first time (takes about 15 min the 2nd time around).

One suggestion is test fit the intake before you do a final clamp. Close the hood on the intake to straighten it out as it sits tight against the hood. Then just open the hood and tighten the last clamp against the throttle body.

Hardest part for me was trimming the radiator cover

Yea be careful with the sensor. I broke mine pulling it out. Other than that it's pretty straight forward.

Also, mount the red coupler to the throttle body first, and then drop the airbox into place. I like to line the airbox up with the weather stripping on the front of the wiper cowl. This will allow you to line the airbox even from side to side, and it will be the perfect height to get a good seal against the hood.
