Vinyl inlays on emblems

Anybody else have done this? Looking for other color combos, I will be doing the rear tomorrow or so. Pictured is a front grill emblem black from mopar but with white vinyl inlays.

Of course nobody will see it unless I point it out.

Then all my friends will hate me cuz imma tell everyone to lookat it and they all gonna be sick of it lol

Did you cut the vinyl yourself or purchase pre-cut? I’d love to try and find something like that close to Copperhead Pearl for the steering wheel.

It was drawn from a picture of the emblem then cut with my friends vinyl cutter.

It is not as simple as trace the emblem and copy and paste into the printer hehe.

I did not realize they have precut ones available!

I think they were 11 bucks for front and rear off ebay. Definitely stand out

That is pretty funny since they started the entire blackout look lol.

Was it actually FCA/ram who offered a blackout package or was it some other mfg then fca copied them?

I think Ram was first to be honest. And then I started seeing GM and For do it. GM and Ram are the only ones that have a full black out as far as I know or have seen around.

I love my blacked out Ram. Oddly enough it was never my thing. I ended up with an express blacked out. Fit my budget, had crew cab and Hemi. Now if money was no object I would have gotten a 2500 sport blacked out. Or the sport midnight. Those are sexy trucks!!!

Now with that said the new electric blue with blacked out emblems gives me the itch to trade but it’s just not feasible [emoji30].


The whole emblem matching thing is such a cool idea ! Loving it.

Lol I am OP, it's my thread and I drew and cut them with a vinyl cutter.

Drawn and cut with a vinyl cutter, each emblem was roughly 3hrs of work.
