So, it has been exactly a year since I started this review. I still use this lightbar on a regular basis. I actually used it for an hour straight last night and two hours continuously a few days ago. It gets turned on very often on a weekly, some times daily, basis.
Any who: let me post some photos and tell you guys what's going on.....

A few things that are obvious.
1) There is no condensation and never has been up to this point.
2) No clouding or yellowing of the lens or reflector. Still crystal clear with a mirror/ glass finish.
3) The black external paint on the housing still looks brand spanking new (could have cleaned it better and it is super overcast, photo are a tad bit dull).
4) All 12 10w LEDs still fire up. The light performance in my opinion is still that when it was brand new.

Only difference is: when I bought this light bar little over a year ago the price was $650. A few months after my purchase the price dropped to $499. I am pretty sure it is so it can stay competitive with the Rigid Radiance. Sucks to be me because I could have gotten a 30" XPR instead if I waited a few months :(. Oh well, I am still happy.

If you want a badass light and only want to buy once. Check out VisionX. What do you guys think? Thanks.

I think if you want a TRULY badass light, buy a Rigid. ;)

Seriously though, those seem to be pretty high quality as well, like you say, certainly on par with the Radiance.

So, breaking news. A good friend of mine just bought a 20" Rigid Industries Radiance for his f150 Raptor.

Here is my 24" VisionX XPR mounted on my bumper with his 20" Radiance on top. For comparison...

I like the Radiance. I would recommend just like I would recommend the VisionX XPR. One thing that is cool about the Radiance that the XPR does not have is the "backlight." I did not know this, but there is actually a backlight LED between every single 10w LED reflector.
2c3e7f1a2b4198adc2ffe9756f87487c.jpg

Here is his Radiance on. (Also, fyi, he has a cheap no name brand eBay bar behind his grill on the same switch).

ebadb298d3e6788323b0cff30a3f81af.jpg

Here is his Radiance light pattern with me standing on the side of his truck.
c117025dbd351e225777d54d3e5f7f2e.jpg
(Unfortunately his behind the grill is also on in this photo. Honestly, I do not think it influenced the Radiance to much. Maybe slightly if anything but negligent).

The Radiance does very well. I like the performance of it. I think it is absolutely worthwhile.

However, I also feel the "tilted LEDs" of the XPR cover more ground and have a wider spread of light. The "titled LEDs" on the XPR mean the three last LEDs on the left and right of the light bar are angled out slightly towards the outside of the road. It gives more spread of light than the Radiance (+ including a 30 or 40 eBay light bar).

So, which one to buy comes down to a few simple questions....

Is the backlight a must have and It just knocks your socks off? Go Radiance.
(See new XPR-SHalo too).

If you want a little better spread of light with a little more distance? Go XPR.

However, you will be happy with either one for off road lighting. Another factor is cost. The Radiance is a little bit cheaper on the wallet.

I feel pretty comfortable I made a good choice with the XPR. :)

It has been 2 years since I started my review of this VisionX XPR light bar. I still have the light bar mounted on my truck and I honestly cannot find another light bar review that is as in depth as mine. Which is pretty cool for those interested in this light.

So, I will kick this off with some photos. I am by no means a professional photographer and I just sprayed down the front of my truck with a garden hose. Hit it with a little "windex" and boom....

Pictures do the talking better than me haha. What you see is absolutely zero sun damage to the optic or polycarbonate protective lens cover. No fading, yellowing or clouding.

You just don't get that type of quality on the cheap Amazon/Ebay style lights.

There has also been zero condensation issues also. The light is still as bright as day one. Also, the exterior housing has held up fantastic also! Clean it up a little and it still looks pretty much brand new. Which, is why I paid top dollar for a quality light.

Lastly, here is a night shot I took last weekend while I was out on the trail. iPhone does an alright job but not perfect....,

I would 100% recommend VisionX to anyone!

Any questions/ comments, feel free to post.

If I had to offer VisionX something to improve their light bar series it would be to offer this type of mounting solution to their already existing line of mounting options. For me, this mount:

Would work better on my bumper. Please produce :) thank you.

Ran through a couple dirty puddles. Had to take my bar off to give it a good cleaning. Cleans up nicely.

After looking at the above two photos (post #28) I can't help but point something out.

Here is Southern California, light bars are EVERYWHERE! I would say, 99% of the time, you are NOT looking at a light bar from Baja Designs, Rigid Industries, VisionX, KC light Etc Etc......

Usually it is an "EBay" or "Amazon Special."

This dude bought one of those Amazon bars:
98343bbf9ef50ff6558ac9a25ea02bd2.jpg
He said he had it for one year!! WTF! The housing and the optics are complete trash. Zero reflective properties what so ever.
My XPR is going on two and a half years:

I am not saying to buy only VisionX. I recommend them of course. However, spend a little more for something nice. Worth the money. I don't understand why people keep those nasty lights on their truck. :D

Quick update for my ongoing XPR review.
I went down to Pismo Beach a few weeks ago. It was very hot and extremely humid towards the evening. Looks like the humidity got to my light bar a bit lol.
237db88f84b3b7a32677ea4e3dcb73dc.jpg

After I got home, I noticed a bit of condensation behind the polycarbonate cover.

Also, I noticed an optic was starting to peel or bubble or something.....
0d05798df97ec5c24a0eeee3896edea9.jpg

I was definitely a bit surprised. However, this is not something that is uncommon.

I mentioned I bought this light bar from a vendor at the Off Road Expo in Pomona, CA. The vendor I used was “SoCal super trucks.”

I will say, these people are awesome. It only took a few emails back and forth. Their email response was very prompt and professional. They filed the warranty claim with VisionX for me. Then boom, I sent my light bar off to VisionX.

I am not sure if they are going to replace the entire light or refurbish. So, I cleaned my light bar last minute so you guys can see how it weathered.....

Cleaned with mild dish soap and hose water. That’s it.

I will let you all know what happens once I receive the light back from VisionX. [emoji4]

Alright. So, this will be my last update on the VisionX XPR light Bar. VisionX advised me they “stand behind their products” and sent me a brand spanking new XPR to replace the one I sent in. I am surprised they sent a new light and I would have been just fine if they refurbished my light and sent it back. But sending a brand new light?! That is taking care of a customer.

Well, this evening, on my porch, I found a box from VisionX. I opened the box and saw this....

I pulled everything out.....

I am very pleased.
