How do I know what kind of mods will void my warranty?

I have some mods that I would like to do but don't want to void warranty right now.

Mods include:
Exhaust
Air intake
Level
Body lift

Thanks for your help!

Notthing you have there will ouright void your warranty. The dealership would have to prove that any warranty claim you bring to them, was a direct result of the mod.

thats a sketchy area, I would talk to the dealer first maybe. I never buy truck new enough to have a warranty for this reason(and the value drop off the lot). Every dealer is different, some are bigger ***** then others. I could see everyone of those mods being blamed for a problem not caused by them.

Do what I'm doing and keep the stock just in case.

That's my exact list of mods i intend to do minus the body lift.
Keeping the box of stock stuff and should be able to return it to stock fairly quickly if a dealership tried to screw me.

It sucks because all i've ever driven has been pretty modified vehicles and well now i need to be a grown up and worry about my warranty and resale.

Goodluck!

I plan to do exhaust and a lift with wheels and tires. I don't see how any of those items could even be considered in voiding any type of warranty. Especially the exhaust.

no warranty can be just voided. Like said if you put on an exhaust and then have engine issues they would have to prove that the exhaust caused the engine issue to not cover it under warranty

Like mentioned im pretty sure it would have to be proved that the mod caused the problem.
