Before I joined this site, a while back now, I was looking through some comment or other on the appearance of the front grill on the 2021 Warlocks, how they appeared to look like a Fu Manchu mustache, and I would suggest that it looks more like a Fu RAMchu. I saw the 1500 Classic Warlock with this design, the Rebel, and even a pic of a Laramie with this at https://cdn.jdpower.com/ChromeImageGallery/Expanded/White/640/2021RMT11_640/2021RMT110352_640_07.jpg

https://carbuzz.com/cars/ram/1500/2021/photos-exterior#9 also has a good pic of this grill.

Even the TRX has a slightly squashed out version of this. https://cdn.motor1.com/images/mgl/PppG2/s4/2021-ram-1500-trx.jpg

Yes, this post is pretty much pointless, but I already spent hours trying to find the original post that had it, including using the search bar, in various spellings, with no luck.

Curious if other people agree with my thoughts on this, or what their opinions are on the front grill of the new 2021 Warlocks (and others).

@noodles Which specific pic are you talking about that has the "hood lip"? Or do you mean the part where it looks like a mustache?

The grille on the 2021 Warlock grill is the same grille that's been used on the 4th gen Rebel since it's inception in 2016. It has often been referred to as the mustache grille, or the Mario grille. The Power Wagon uses a very similar grill too. I love the look of the Rebel grille, and I'd have a Rebel now if I could have gotten the same options on one that I have on my Limited.

Found out where I had seen the "Fu Man Chu" mustache comment, and it wasn't even on this site, it was on carbuzz. Oh well, at least I got to see some comments on your thoughts on it. I still like the look, and I do think that Fu RAM Chu would be more appropriate anyway.

Also, sad to say that, for some ungodly reason, FCA decided that on a pretty much entirely blacked out chrome truck, that having a "metallic" look on the RAM front and center would be "OK". I really don't get this decision, as it is totally blacked out properly on the Night Edition Rebel.

Come on guys (at FCA), seriously? You couldn't make it look like everything else you blacked out? The lug nuts and exhaust tips are a totally different deal, but those should have been blacked out as well on the Warlocks, and any other model with the bumpers and badging given that treatment.

@noodles Also, it looks like in your pic, your truck has the sport hood version. Mine is the regular center bump version. Sadly missing the center stripe and bedside badging it should have come with.

It gives me a little bit of a 1954 Dodge pickup grille vibe:
