Water marks inside headlights

Yeah the mechanic told me that I'm not the first person to come in about the same thing. He said that there are some lights out there that weren't sealed properly from the factory. He even showed me exactly where the water was getting in on the top of the light. I'm definitely gonna run a bead of silicone around the lights when I get them so this doesn't happen again!

The factory HID headlights that come on my 2013 Ram (that arn't really HIDs) thats I have had for about a month...first time I washed it I notice both headlights fogging up down at the bottom by the turnsignal lights....but I have not had it happen since...and I have washed it about 6 more times...so I am waiting to see first.

When I first got my 13' I had the same fogging issue in the headlights at the bottom by the signal lights.... Replaced under warranty after taking it there twice with the same problem. First time they tried to tell me that fogging up was normal and I shouldn't worry

So I went and had the lights replaced today and they look good but when the wonderful mechanic took my grill off to swap them out he scratched the **** out of my bumper and put a scratch on my fender by my headlight. I swear I can't win. Now the dealer is going to repaint my bumper on a brand new truck. Unbelievable

Its just straight up carelessness. Its not his truck he doesn't give a **** about it. I even said to him that he doesn't need to take the grill off to get the lights out and he said yes you do that's the only way to get them out. What an ass. Now my poor truck has to get new paint on it that wouldn't have even been necessary if he was just more careful

Just got my truck back from having the dealer repaint the bumper. I had them remove the front plate bracket and fill the holes since they were repainting the bumper anyway!! Looks way cleaner IMO!!
