Hi all,

I have a Wavian 5 gallon can and the steel strap mount. I'm looking for a creative way to mount in short bed, which has a crossover tool box against the forward cab end. See photos below.

I'm thinking the cleanest installation would be to stash it under the box, which keeps it mostly out of the way and partially hidden. My only real concern is leaving the full can on its side for long periods of time. I've heard these Wavian cans don't leak when stored on their side, but I'd prefer vertical mounting. Just can't come up with an elegant way to secure it vertically without building some brackets and blocking the rear tie down hooks.

Any bright ideas from someone with a similar setup?

I hadn't seen those... will have to take some measurements. Any ideas on securing them beneath the box?

I do have that style siphon. Probably should get another.

I give them out as gifts to people that have to transfer fluids, like boaters

Those plastic jugs hardly ever slide on the bed liner

They don't even move much in my bed tray
