Waxed my truck for the first time a few weeks ago. I guess I got some wax on some of the plastic textured features and didn't fully remove it. Any tips on getting all of it off?

Thanks for the quick reply. fyi, I thought I would try just plain peanut oil to save the peanut butter mess. I poured a little on a clean rag and tried it in an inconspicuous area first. It worked perfectly. I did all the problem areas, then gave her a good washing. Looking sweet again.

Thanks!

I know how **** this sounds, but if you take a piece of masking tape and tape off the door handles and other "black" stuff that will keep the wax off. Also Collinite 845 wax can be used on all the black stuff as well as the paint.

I just use armor-all and it always takes it right off too. It also shines up the handles, bed caps, and any other black plastic stuff on the truck and it looks pretty sweet.

I just use fukken wax on everything. wheels, glass, paint, plastic, powdercoat(gloss and textured). Works great on everything IMO.
