I have the 1500 Big Horn. Can I get Waze as an app (or otherwise) on the screen?

Does it have Uconnect? When you connect to Android Auto it will display under AA apps on the screen. You will need to have the app on your phone and enabled under AA. It would be under Customize Launcher in the app from your phone. Check all that you want to access on the truck.

Waze is a good mapping site
Just don't use their Detours, every Ford products vehicle use WAZE.
IF you are on a Major Highway & there are signs that you should re-route because of an accident, everyone is sent by the same detour, Ram's Nav & Waze use the same detour & most times it will be on some Secondary Street,
Usually just a few miles away, there is another Major Highway close by.
Think about Garmin, Google & Tom Tom detours
maybe use a Truckers Detour

Big question is, do you have Uconnect? If you have the 8.4" screen, then you do. Now, it must comnfigure difrently on Android or iPhone but probably close.
I have an Android so it will look like 18CD's post above.
I use it everytime I use my truck. Very useful when people mark hidden police.
