Weird?

So my buddy just told me about weird thing his 17 ram does....
If he leaves his radar detector plugged in and starts his truck his headlights don’t work until he unplugs radar detector??? Then they come on a sec later? What’s that?

Thats not normal, It sounds like he needs to take it into dealer to get the computer checked,
my 16' doesnt not do that with my dash cam or radar detector plugged in, everything works as it should..

Yeah I never heard of that either? Figured someone on here would have heard of it or had that problem....

Its a software or computer issue, he needs to just take it to the dealer and have them check it out..
