Little hint from my retro experience. Bake those headlights forever, then a bit longer. Take your time. If the 3G headlights are like the 4G, it sucks to get it apart!

06-08s are worse than the 4th gen duals.

I could've done it earlier on, but no projector. Just a heat gun, stick it in the headlight hole and leave it in there for like 20 minutes. Easily removable. But I just resealed it.

I'll say this.........if you leave a heatgun in the hole vacated by the halogen bulb for 20 minutes, your lens will be ******. Period.

he just ordered the lights (from someone) yesterday........so I don't think so.

It was on low. And 20 minutes was a guess. Idk how long it was. Felt like forever.

use what you have..........and no, you wouldn't want to use a convection oven. A conventional oven (or the convection turned off is ok, mine is a convection) - just as long as it fits.

if it doesn't fit, heatgun it is.........have fun with that man.

Alright. I was told to get one. Evenly distributes the heat. So the lense needs to face up?
