Well...I may regret it but I bought a 2021 Laramie Longhorn Limited with eTorque 5.7 Hemi.

I've heard mixed reviews about the etorque but it certainly has a lot more power then my 2014 Laramie limited that was stolen last week.

I did get a pretty comprehensive 3 year ACS aftermarket warranty with it. The truck has 45K miles but its got the rambox's I can't live without!

I have a 2019, @ 75k miles, and have had zero issues with the Etrq other than horrible fuel milage.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new truck! Hopefully you'll have many years of problem free driving. For the record, your new truck is either a Laramie Longhorn or a Limited. They didn't make a Laramie Longhorn Limited for 2021. In fact I don't think they ever made that trim level. Ram seems to be trying to confuse people with how they name their trim levels, so it's understandable that people don't always get it right.

The eTorques seem to be hard on the 12v battery. I just changed my original battery on my 22 Laramie w/39k. Build date was 03/22. Batt wasn’t dead but wasn’t spinning the engine over as quick as normal. I have every expectation of having to change this “60 month” battery out inside of 4 years. If you swap out the battery don’t go cheap.

Upgrade to an Odyssey H8 AGM if possible.

Not certain if the etorque's can accept the H8 size and AGM product, but if they can, I'd recommend it.

Many here with their 1500 non-etorque's upgrade to an H8 AGM.
One is going from a 750cca lead acid filled to a 950cc AGM.
I did and it's night and day improvement.

Perhaps also look to install several additional quality ground cables throughout your truck as well.

There are significant improvements to ones electrical system when this is done. Improvement to the point it's appreciably felt throughout the entire electrical system!

I did it and immediately felt the benefits of doing this upgrade ;)

I've got a 2019, 65,000 miles and no problems. I did have a warranty issue with the battery behind the rear seat but it was replaced under warranty. I've been pleased with the system.

Yea, I definitely got confused…looked at a lot! Even the dealerships are confused in model labeling!

Mine is a Laramie limited, not longhorn. Was deciding between 3 and with the dirt roads I drive Im kinda happy to not have the wood to clean!

I have the identical 2021 RAM Longhorn Limited with eTorque on the 5.7L Hemi and the truck has run flawlessly since purchased new.

Just traded my 2020 Limited eTorque with approx 67,000 miles. No problems, period. Still had the original battery and brakes. Bought a new Limited.
