After 5.5 years and nearly 120k miles, the Ram is gone. I will say, it has been one of the best vehicles I’ve had from a comfort standpoint and from a reliability standpoint. When the time comes for another truck, I won’t hesitate to come back to a Ram.

A few months ago, we sold our house and moved to an apartment in downtown Houston. At the time, I had my truck and in the garage I had my 2000 Mustang GT that I bought for a toy. After we moved, the mustang basically sat in our parking garage collecting dust. It had a couple of nagging issues needing to be tracked down and fixed, but I had nowhere to work on it anymore. I decided it was time to part with it, so I sold it to my brother in law. Since we no longer own a house and I no longer need room to haul stuff (Home Depot runs basically), I decided it was time to get something a bit smaller that is easier to maneuver in the tight spaces of downtown. I found a 2016 Mustang GT Premium Performance Package with only 16k miles on it. 6 spd manual and fully loaded. It came with a lifetime power train warranty and a 100k mile no time limit bumper to bumper warranty. So I made the hour drive to Conroe and traded the truck in. I’m not one for taking a bunch of pictures of my vehicles, but I did snap one at the dealer. That is the truck I traded sitting next to it.

The black wheels will eventually disappear, but for now, I’m leaving well enough alone.

Nice looking Mustang.... love the manual!! I really miss driving a stick most days. My kids are coming up on driving age soon and I have to find someone with a manual that I can teach them on... although it's becoming totally unnecessary I suppose.

Yeah not much out there that's manual. My son is about to get his license and has no desire to learn. I'd even let him drive my 05 mustang if he cared to try.
