Hi

Near the brake pedal I noticed a loose green wire.

I’m going to try to trace it but in case someone knows any idea what it is?

Thanks

Alex

Is that wire taped on to the harness? It looks like a wire for an aftermarket accessory because it does not look like it is coming from inside the harness. Do you have anything electrical on the truck that does not work?

Do you have an aftermarket radio? The parking brake wire is usually green on those

I would agree it could be the parking break wire. I have used it to tap in my aftermarket radio to open up additional functionality. It definitely shouldn't be dangling like that if that is what it is.

Pic for reference. That is the existing green wire that was there before I tapped my radio in

Thanks for all your help.

I do have an aftermarket radio so it’s likely the parking wire.

Thanks

Alex
