I upgraded from my 2009 1500 SLT and all I can say is WOW! My 09' served me well but this truck is truly in a different league. 2019 Laramie 2500 Blackout /with 12" uconnect! Inside looks like a Tesla and the power and ride are unbelievable! I don't want to stop driving it!72262915_10217853932373821_3456532634065174528_n.jpg

Thanks all and good looking truck Leslie, my 09 was gunmetal gray. Gonna miss it but love the heck out of this one already!

Of course I would like to do a few mods to it but I have heard from some sources that they have made it really hard to do any sort of diesel mods these days. Not to mention, so far I have not come across a lot of information. Is there anywhere (besides here of course) that may be a good source for knowledge on the subject.

Yep! People don't understand the whole diesel thing until they drive one. You can tell people over and over but until they get seat time... they just don't get it. My neighbor keeps buying his Ford gassers and talking about how you don't need a diesel for an RV. Biggest thing he's pulled is a 5X8 with a zero turn in it. (I've got 2 friends that keep their LG rv's on the property and I tend to tow heavy from time to time.) Did you ever tow with the 09? If so, wait until you hook up the same thing with the 19! I've been drooling over the new trucks. Bro-in-law has a 18...

GasJr4WD, I towed what I considered heavy for my 1500 on several occasions but not on a regular basis by any means. In fact, on a couple of those occasions the trailer and what I was hauling should have been fitted up with a 2500 (at least) but it wasn't for long distances (big trailer when moving furniture to a new house not far away). I can't wait to hitch up a load with this bad boy and see if I even feel that it's back there!!

Diesels have their place that’s for sure.
Grats on the purchase!
