Looking to see what people's intervals are and what fluid they use regarding various fluids on their 1500. I know the manual has a guideline you can follow but I'm looking at truck owners opinion. I tow a 6000lbs TT about 5000km a year and use the truck as a daily driver putting about 20,000km/yr.

1. Front diff
2. Rear diff
3. Transfer case
4. Zf8spd trans fluid
5. Engine oil
6. Coolant

I'll start:
1. 60,000km RL 75w90
2. 60,000km RL 75w140
3. 60,000km mopar atf Bw44-44
4. 120,000km zf lifegaurd8
5. 10,000km (pup 5w30 or qsud 5w30)
6. 180,000km or 9yr using mopar 68175339ac

I change the oil when the oil life meter reaches 0%. The rest I don’t worry about because I probably won’t keep the truck more than a few years anyway. Once it hits 100k it’ll be headed to the dealer as a trade in if I have it that long. 2 years in and sitting around 55k now.

Whatever the manufacturer recommends...

Speaking of manufacturer recommends... I just had a look into my 2019 RAM 1500 Classic owner manual and recommended oil change interval is now 1Y or 16,000 KM. No way I'll change my engine oil as infrequently! I am even pretty sure the manufacturer still use semi-synthetic oil by default (that were the case in 2018 when I last check) and not fully synthetic. So this stupid recommended interval is just perfect for ruining your engine and create job for the dealership when your warranty will run out.

IMO, 10,000 KM or every 6 months with fully synthetic oil is the best! Remember than depending of where you live in Canada, the manufacturer consider several area in Canada of "extreme use condition" because of the very cold weather during winter that deteriorate fluids faster. Several other car manufacturers such as Mazda, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia and many more will have special fluid maintenance schedule just for northern Canada areas because of the climate.

I shotgun all the fluids and filters in the 10k - 12k range...

Whatever antifreeze is on sale,
Rotella for the engine,
ATF+4 for the tranny and transfer case,
90-weight for the pumpkins,
Fleetguard filters all around...

I also swap the serp belt and tensioner pully...

Rotate the tires and call it Miller Time!

Ive been searching for a good alternative to molars transfer case fluid but no such luck. The bw44-44 fluid is 44$/quart at the stealership. Yikes
