I might be wrong but the only way to get the stick was with the 318.

Looks like a sharp truck. What size rims/tires are those?

I loved my 318 and the 17mpg it gave me being 16 years old!!! Just check the plenum, to see if it's been repaired and if it has, ask if they replaced the plenum plate too or just the gasket.

It's a common repair on the gen2 318 and 360. The plate on the underside of the intake is flimsy and weak and warps. Causing pinging, poor fuel mileage, burnt out CAT converters, massive oil consumption, etc. The best way to repair it, is to pull the intake, and replace the plenum plate and gasket with a kit from Hughes Engines (about $110)...also a good time to do the kegger mod to the intake while you're in there and free up some up that air and increase your upper RPM performance a little bit.

WOW , learning something new every day .

The owner said it gets 19 mpg if your not on it (being a manual I can see that )
Says no oil consumption or leaks . Had him look at the TB said it was clean .

Maybe it has already been done ?

He has had the truck for 3 months .. bought for his kid but the kid cant drive a stick and now drives a auto .. dad drives a CTD and mom a charger .. all mopar .. good people

Could be, if he is seeing that well of economy, then I would assume it either already been repaired, or he is one of the lucky ones who hasnt yet had the problem.

I will give it a once over. But most likely will pick it up. Reminds me of my 99 RCSB
So this would be my 3rd RCSB ... I just love them. And this one is a manual witch I have been hunting for.
