I bought a set of black Express wheels recently that had some scratches and such. My original thought was to repaint the wheels and stick with black. I'm kinda thinking about switching things up and doing bronze or maybe something that closer matches the granite crystal metallic paint.

My truck is a basic granite crystal metallic with chrome bumpers/grille. I'm also thinking about ordering one of the paint match bedliner kits to spray the bed and bumpers.

what say you - black, bronze, or color match?

Either black or color match. You'd probably be the only one with color matched granite crystal factory rims.

Don't rattle can it! It won't last if you don't use an accelerator according to a paint and body guy I know. The acids in your hands wear it off. Maybe a P&B person could chime in here as I am not one.
But, I have Granit Crystal too and I love the black inserts with polished aluminum rims on mine.IMG_0525.JPG IMG_0526.JPG

Without a doubt, the right way to do it would be to take the tires off, and take em to a body shop and have em painted and clear-coated ... They would stand up to weather and last much longer ... Might cost a couple bucks, but cheaper than new wheels, and one of a kind ... Isn’t your truck worth it ?!?!

the right way to do it would be to powdercoat them

If you could get an exact color match to the factory paint in powder, and then you’d most likely have to buy a 5lb min qty of powder ... Then you’d have to find a powdercoater willing to put a cast wheel in his bake oven ... Ever see a cast wheel with an air pocket blow up ?
