'99 Sport, original owner.
Freshened up some areas of paint. Bearings all around, UV joints, adjusted the brake shoes. Little things I wanted to straighten up before summer camping and fishing.
:)

1. Put a new (to me) tool box on it to stop hoarding things in the passenger floorboard of my single cab.
2. Got new Husky floor liners.
3. Did surgery on my overhead console so the light switches would work again and replaced broken sunglasses holder.
4. Did some minor surgery in my dash to fix some of the broken plastic.

I’d have to say that the plastic repairs have been the most satisfying overall. Also have a bunch of parts ordered to restore, lift, and upgrade my front end. I can’t wait for that!

I just did a write up on my overhead console refurb...
https://www.ramforum.com/threads/overhead-console-refurb.161949/

Here’s some pics of the console and my new Husky floor liners. If I was going to do it again, I think I’d buy the black floor liners instead since they would hide dirt more easily. I’m still quite pleased with them though.

Oh yeah, one other quick and very easy thing I did to improve my interior... several of my a/c vents were getting sticky and didn’t want to move freely. Some to the point where I was afraid they might break if I forced them. Yesterday I sprayed armor-all up into them and worked them side to side several times. WAY better now. Can’t believe I didn’t think to try that years ago.

96 5.9 Ram 1500 - 200K miles. Replaced OEM radiator, water pump, all coolant hoses, fan clutch, serpentine belt and idler pulleys. I liked the 205* thermostat that the previous owner had installed, so it got a fresh one too. Gotta love Rock Auto LOL

Bought one! :). I got a '97 with virtually no rust, 65k miles, for $1500. Needs some love, (brakes, rotors, tires), as it sat for 4 years, but, I believe she'll be great. Frankly, with all the "work from home" I needed a project and this will be awesome. Clear coat is weathered but I kinda like the ...patina. It will obviate the fact that I am not looking to pass this off as a Show Truck! (However, truth be told, when money is more abound, I'm thinking of painting it Viper blue with white stripes!). Want to put some big sneakers on it, 33 x 12.5 x 16 but not sure how big/fat I can go. Would like to put a ...throaty'ier exhaust on it, but, nothing wild. Needs a new dash and I'm learning that is a CHORE. I'll post some BEFORE pics and AFTERs as they arrive.

That dash isn’t to bad u can have it done in a few hours if u have the right tools. That really low miles man that’s awesome man. Is it 318 or 360

Thanks. We'll see after I do the brakes, alternator, fuel pump etc. But, for me - up here in Massatucky where everything rusts off the frame at 99,999 miles - my hope is the body stays solid for a while.

I wished mine was solid but I’m got rocker panels and stuff for mine just don’t wanna do it
