Personally, I went the V6 E-fan route as soon as I got my truck mostly for this reason. It had a fairly new water pump (warranty replacement from Ram) and I figured less stress on the pump by not having the belt driven fan on it anymore.

I am going to guess and say I got a good Ram. 161k and its still on the factory radiator, fan, water pump, and T stat. I did add some lubegard Kool it last summer, but other then that it runs 203 on a 100* day at idle. All I have done is just change the fluids and filters.

Went back and forth to School to drive the bus. We had a few days of rain so roads were somewhat "desalted". I had 9 miles one way and she had 15 x 2 to doctors, so she got stuck in our "winter car", 02 Century already rusty. trying to keep the ram rust free, do not want to have to buy another truck. I'm on a motorcycle most of the year.

My son's truck now, but we did thermostat and radiator hoses today. All still the original 2012 parts, thermostat was probably sticking open a bit as he was getting the emissions code for vehicle not getting up to temperature quick enough.

I was honestly surprised at how good a condition the lower hose was still in, especially. Neither was ready to rupture or anything, but the top had lost some rigidity (happens to a lot of things as they get older, I hear).

Finally got around to vinyl wrapping my driver's door.
It's the shade is slightly off but it looks a lot better than an all black door on a silver ram.

Re-glued the rear window defogger tab back onto the glass using the permatex kit which worked incredibly well and simple to do.

I installed the Mishimoto thermostat kit in the transmission cooler lines. It opens at 165F to allow ATF to flow into the transmission cooler.

after a month of waiting, I finally got her back. I have new fog lights on the way. I have to install the turn signals in the mirrors and I got lights for the hood nostrils. Fiber works 3 inch fenders, and I believe the rear flares are bushwhackers
and the new 37s

yeah, eventually and a new bumper and some different wheels I had to do something in the rear, so I just did the flares for now

been busy today installed the new fog lights the sequential turn signals in the mirrors, adjusted the rear flares cause I didn’t like the way the body shopped did it and modified the factory front fender liners for fiberworx fenders
