Replaced my 3rd brake light (again). On the old one, the LEDs, for the cargo lights, fell out and the brake light didn't work. Put the new one in and nothing worked. What the hell? Pulled the wires out and it had a Brake Alert module installed. I guess this was supposed to flash the brake light. Ripped it out and put the new one back in and everything worked. Tested the one I took out and it now worked too. Still replaced it since the cargo light LEDs fell out.

Also, put in new plastic clips in the tail lights, since mine disintegrated when I replaced the bulbs a few weeks ago.

Thank you! I found them limited wheels on eBay and sent them to powder coat gloss black . Everything is OEM as much as possible! Getting parts from multiple Limited trucks . The most difficult task was the seats . Lucky I found them separately and got the front ones instead the whole set. Which could of been more expensive.

Replaced the 4 year old Rancho quick lift struts with bilstein 6112 Struts set at 2". The front end sits higher and the truck rides much better. I think the Ranchos were pretty worn out.

Got my new tires a couple days ago and am currently getting an alignment done, afterwards I'm gonna go home and install new rear brake pads and finally flush out my brake fluid.

Got in my truck to go to the grocery store. Dead. Charged it up enough to start it. Went to Sam's Club, picked up a Duracell AGM battery for $199. Told it would be an hour for them to install it. Screw it, went to the parking lot and swapped it myself in 5 minutes. Took the old one to their shop area. 1 car in the bay, 5 people standing around. An hour???? Really????

Finally got around to installing my 4 row radiator. Don't let anyone fool you, they are not direct fit. Almost, but, not 100%.



1. Had to trim about 1 inch off the back of the shroud. Could/Should probably take another 1/2" off as it was pretty tight going back in. Shroud no fit? Make shroud fit!
2. Had to trim a little bit off the shroud mounts, where it sits in the radiator.
3. The mounts where the A/C lines bolt to the radiator are too far back. I'll have to rig up a bracket for them.



All in all, it wasn't too bad. Also flushed out my heater core. Last winter had no heat and froze my ass off on the way to work. Seems to blow much better now. Used CLR and flushed it. Much better flow after the flush.

The radiator it self is pretty nice, very well built form the looks of it.

Only real problem was waiting for it to get to temp, so, I could burp and top it off. Got too dark to finish tonight. I'll finish it up tomorrow. And post a pic of the finished install.

Here's a pic of the installed radiator. You can see it is quite a bit wider than the stock one.


The new radiator cap that came with it. It is a 19lb cap, whereas the stock one was 16lb.


Here's the shroud installed. You can see how close it is to the engine. This was after trimming about 1" off of it.


The other issue I ran into was the lower mud pan did not fit anymore since the holes for the push pins don't line up. Have to figure out a fix for that.

Also, in order to make sure you have no leaks, make sure you tighten the upper radiator hose clamp properly.

Added a new-to-me trailer to the fleet. Needed a 7 foot wide double axle and found this 7x18 at a local auction and snagged it for a decent price. Truck pulled it flawlessly as expected. Just gotta give it some love and get it all kitted out for all my needs. Debating on insulating it for any overnight camping at trials events. I was surprised to find that every light worked when I parked it in the yard for a good wash out.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.

I got my bed lined, couldn’t do this year but will probably do the frame next year.

Had my tires replaced a few weeks ago and replaced my low beam headlight bulbs this evening. With driving on back country roads to get home I decided to replace the tires before winter hit and replaced my low beams so I could see the local deer populations before hitting them on the road.
