Had to get a new clockspring and steering angle sensor installed, old one developed a short at 181k miles.

Still haven't had a chance to test my tekonsha p3 yet, hopefully soon.

Can you post an update when you get to try it out? I've been looking at this model.
I had the P3 for a few years on my F150 and this Ram 1500, after I converted my tandem axle boat trailer to electric over hydraulic disc brakes on all 4 wheels. Was an awesome controller and a ton of adjustments to tailor it to any trailer.

Added OEM brake controller to my current Ram, sold that P3 controller and haven't looked back. Not near as many ways to customize the OEM, but since it's integrated, it does more behind the scenes by itself.

I learned that '13 mirrors don't have the ambient air temp sensor in the driver side mirror like my 19. Truck thought it was -33 degrees (its was actually 45 outside) and threw a code. Those came right back off and right back onto FB marketplace.

sucks cause they were color matched

got tired of trying to hook up the battery tender in crappy weather and having the hood try to fly away with the winds and snow we get most times. Snipped off the one end and put ring connectors on a 25ft tender extension cable. This way I can do the split charging (+ on one battery and the - on the other). I ran the far cable in with the hood pod light wiring and took the molded connector out the bumper like the block heater plug.

For about $140 I put in a 5,500lb Badland winch on my 16 eco. I'm almost old so I don't go out hammering anymore in the middle of the night, I just pull the occasional log out of the way or something very simple that this will do the job without having a 400 lb weight LOL I think a very good investment for a person like myself.

Happy New Year!

HMM, did the A/C filter mod and install. Spent an hour or so trying to remove the"cover" shown in all the videos. Finally discovered they weren't factory equipped until 2017 DUHHHH. Also dropped the fuel tank the check the mounts. They were OK but a reasonable amount of debris, dirt etc. I'm going to open the bottoms up so the doesn't collect in there on the future, Then I will likely seal the tops so it no longer has an opening.

I put the filter mod on the inside of my '16, it took a bit with a razor knife but I got it and it works great. I bought the filter with the cover and it snaps right in once you cut out the hole.

well, my fuel level sensor decided to drop a **** again. Not sure how many miles it’s been. I think it’s been probably a good 50,000 maybe a little more.

After over a year of putting it off, I finally remembered I can change my screens on the T2. Low and behold my p1621 code was SUPER easy to figure out which O2 sensor packed up and left the chat. Now I'll get one ordered and swap it out.

Being a fat lil smoker with short arms, cleaning the inside of the windshield is a 3 ring circus act. Clean, move, cuss, clean, move again, cuss some more.

Tried one of them lil spade shaped microfiber doo hickys with a hand, and the microfiber kept falling off. Well it fell off for the last time in the garbage can. With the recent cold temps and getting off of work at 1am, the nicotine film would absorb the moisture from my breath and freeze on contact. I got a car wash mop and some Invisible glass and now ol' tubby can clean the windshield from the drivers seat haha.

Bought, installed and programmed a used set of OEM mirrors with the lights AND auto dimming. It took me a bit to find a set with the auto dimming. (Both sides have the additional wiring, but the programming shows an open circuit on the passenger side…I wonder if they replaced the glass at some point?)
I was pleased to find out that all the features except the power fold worked with my existing door modules (I don’t care about power fold)

I’d love to have the mirrors also be running lights, but haven’t figured out that piece.

On a side note-I love the look of the Morimoto lights but can’t justify the $$$ - has anyone had good luck with any of the more cost effective units? If so, would you share a link? Thanks!

I put these on my truck, since the stock ones were pitted pretty good. Cost me a whopping $65. They are not available from this seller right now, maybe another seller would have them or something similar.

Here's a seller that has something very similar to what I bought.
