Had a custom intake pipe made to connect the Vararam and throttle body.

Did a "test" fit the other day, but tonight was the first time everything was hooked up and functioning.

Start up was uneventful, and for the most part I couldn't tell any difference. Which quite honestly, even if there's not gains.... I love the old school look.

Well, that all changed once I got out of the neighborhood and let it rip. As I gave it some gas, and then more gas my reaction was "HOLLY Sh%T " !!! There's no question that it pulls more, and the sound..... oh my that sound !!! I LOVE IT !!!

I gave mine a bath only to have my what I thought was a cool neighbor across the street, Ford F-150 and Explorer family. We talk kids exchange birthday gift during Covid. We watch out for their son who likes to bolt down The street. Anyways dude knows I keep our cars spotless. They are washed weekly and detailed. His wife and he both wave when outside. We have one kid that’s the same age as theirs. I really don’t get today. He blew his grass clippings all over the left side of my clean ram. I walked out to back her in for the night and got so ******. His mother in law was in today from out of town, but that happens twice a month since the last 4 years we have been here. Not sure if it’s the recent fighting we have seen, but have some respect for others. I’m half tempted to blow his clippings onto his mother in laws car. I would never blow grass on someone’s car and if I did I would blow it off. End of rant sorry,I spent 4 hours on two cars.

I have neighbor's that don't get it either! It's called common sense, a VERY rare ability anymore! I want to believe nothing like that is done on purpose, I guess the left handed cigs can't be handled by all! lOL

We don't normally have issues with them. You never know what is actually going on with people.

I took the tube steps off, then washed it up. I'll be returning the blade steps I purchased since the box was open and they were scratched up. I was gonna just Scorpion line them to cover the scratches but I like how it looks without steps right now. I'll be casually looking for some very tight to the body ones like I've seen on some PW's. Ones you can barely notice they're there but have that extra foot placement. With the air bags set to Entry/Exit, it's a breeze getting in/out but I'm a bit apprehensive about using it all the time since the system is over 3 years old with over 100k on the truck. I've told myself once it goes out I'll put a 6" lift on it and 37's. I'm thinking about a stripe down the hood too to wrap the black up around the front end. I still have to put that Scorpion lined skid plate on, but I blacked it out in the last pic to get an idea of the whole thing. No rush though. Just taking my time.

Added hood spears. Jury is still out on if they stay. The driver side will have to be redone if they do. It is at best a 5 footer now. Going to leave it as is until I get side stripes, then decide.

Gave it a quick wash yesterday and then took it to the park for a kids birthday party.

Put her to work and hitched up the little ‘ole utility trailer to haul a pallet of blocks for my driveway project. Info placard said pallet was 2,800 lbs…….no trouble for the old girl but might have been a teenie tiny over for the trailer. Good thing it was a short trip back to the house.

A couple of extra pics cuz hey, we all like pics, right?!

quick backstory, we purchased the lot next to us and we’re finally doing a few projects. Working on a nice “circular” drive to make life easier with the camper.
