Picked it up from the dealership for the umpteenth time in 10 months. But hey, at this point, my whole front and rear suspension are new. I hope this trip was the last.

Got new LT 275/65r20 Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek tires. They are significantly taller and wider than the stock 275/60r 20’s in both the OEM SRA’s and the Discoverer AT3’s I had last. The listed dimensions are 34.7 x 11.5 so more like a 285/65r20. Regardless in the first 20 miles they soaked up some pot holes I dreaded in my last tires. I also washed and waxed it .3957292C-C1F1-4C6F-8ED3-C9BA01BD617A.jpeg

First mod even before I got home with the truck… stopped at a tire shop and had them swap my tires over to my new wheels:

Averaged 23.7 MPG over 627 miles and am quite happy with that. A good bit of that was on the Natchez Trace, where the speed limit is 50 (which I observed). Still on my first tank of gas, with about 110 miles range remaining.

Now that I'm home, the first order of business tomorrow is to wash all the bugs off the grille!

Today I got around to moving all my front seating to the rear. Just need to fab brackets and get it all buttoned down. But seats slide jump seat functions and it all feels about the same amount of room.

If those are oem lug nuts, get those off and get some black gorillas. I have those rims, had to get the gorilass, the oem are actually faulty, they have caps that when the cap fails you are screwed. I love your truck, love the color. If I knew I'd drive this truck as long as I had, I would have got the same.

@Hemi395 has a thread on oem lugnuts somewhere.

I am currently waiting on the rain to finish up so I can put my 5" tips on. They are curing in the garage and ready to go!

Those are aftermarket solid lug nuts - you’re absolutely right about the cheap capped OEM nuts!

Well officially it was last week but I traded it!

No worries though, stayed in the family and replaced it with a 2021 2500 in max steel. I’ll post some pics once it finally arrives………,,

That is sweet! Do you plan on doing a writeup once it's 100% complete? I would really be interested in what brackets need to be made to do it.
