So, I did a thing... two things actually: First, I replaced the stock antenna with a 4.8" shorty. Got it from Amazon:
Raito 4.8" Antenna . I know many people have not been happy with a shorter antenna, but I can not complain at all on this. The radio station I listen to the most in the morning, used to drop out (HD or analog mode - either way), or a station in Mexico (as near as I can determine) would stomp all over the station I was trying to listen to, whenever I'd drop into a valley, as the sun was rising. This was infuriating. So, I looked at several shorty's, and found this one. I ordered it, fearing I might have trouble with it, but could always return it. Well, not only did I NOT have trouble, it FIXED all the issues I was having trying to listen to the radio in the morning. HD doesn't drop at all, the station comes in clear (even in analog mode), and that pesky station is Mexico hasn't peeped over the one I listen too once. So, very happy with this antenna.
The next thing I did, was get some tire paint and fill in the OWL on my tires. I like an aggressive look and this takes the cake! The paint is permanent, and you need to apply three coats total over a couple of warm (but not hot) days. Got it from Amazon as well, but you can order direct from the company as well:
Tire Ink from Amazon or
Tire Ink Direct.
Here are some pics of the antenna and the tires:
