Crawled up underneath to see why my E-brake doesn't work, found my cables were completely loose and just dangling. So now I've gotta figure out why...

Then I started de-striping and de-badging. Only got the driver's side done cuz my heat gun decided to die on me

Added some wax and it looks soooo much better. Going to replace that Hemi badge with a black one and call it good

Also upgraded most of the lighting this weekend. Auxito makes the best LED replacement bulb I've found so far, their LED chips are as close to the same location as the filament in a halogen bulb as possible and the board is super thin, so they work perfectly in factory non-HID projectors. Used them for my lows and also for the high beams. One thing I didn't realize was the body on these is non-adjustable, so I had to finagle one of the tabs in first and rotate it 90* from where they'd normally install to get them in the proper up and down orientation. I left the high beams as they came (sideways) and the beam pattern is funky, so I'm gonna have to do the same there.

Also installed new fog light assemblies since one of my lenses was cracked. Took a chance on these since they had good reviews and they are fantastic. Very wide pattern, they throw a good distance and also have a nice cutoff. I went with the black ones to match the dark sport lights and they're not obnoxious looking at all

Also added the DeeZee tailgate assist
IMG_6065.JPG

And some LED tag lights

And some spot mirrors that fit our sport mirrors very well, though I put them in the bottom corners

So now I'm just waiting for the DieselLEDs reverse lights to come in and then find time to tackle the interior lights.

Got these puddle lights/signals. Stock passenger side was out for as long as I remember so figured spending $50 wasn’t too bad. Nice smoked look to them.

Look into the actuator cam at the axle. They commonly get a bit of rust/road grime on them and not release fully. To this day mine still hangs a little low because the cam isn't perfect. But the e-brake isn't dragging so I don't worry too much about it.

Mine was like that also, I think its a common issue. When I took it to my shop for a full brake job, they replaced the cable and everything because of how rusted it was.

Yeah I found some threads about it yesterday. It's about due for brakes anyway so I'll grab everything including new e-brake shoes and cables, just get everything fresh back there.

We are having some hellish winds today, gusts to 72. Went onto the highway and bang and seen the rearview mirror go black. Looks like the wind was perfect angle to mess with it and it broke loose from 2 of the 6 "tabs" that holds the top to the rails. Luckily I got the lifetime warranty, now for the fun of dealing with them.

Took the old dealer badges off the gate and replaced the 4x4 badge with a black one, lower down. Trying to decide if I wanna do black Rams heads or not.

Also installed AVS ventshades. I use them on every truck but the fronts didn’t fit for **** on this truck. I had to cut off the front tab that goes behind the mirror and it still was hell trying to get the windows to go up. They stick far enough out of the channel that the windows would hit and go back down. I’m gonna keep them closed up for a couple days and see how it acts. These may get trashed and I’ll have to try some other brand

The RWL look looks nice with that color of blue @BuschLatte420 I have been thinking of doing the same when I put mine on. I don't see it very often out here on the coast
