My Rebel did not have running boards and I needed them to ease access since the truck is 2" higher than the 2016 Sport I had. Very lucky to find the factory boards on Ebay very close to me for local pickup at a decent price. I prefer the factory boards due to their superior brackets. I took the chromies off my last truck and replaced them with black ones from Westin, but their brackets were nowhere nearly as strong.

Truck got filthy today in the rain driving to the jobsite, but I got them home afterwards and installed them in less than 45 minutes. Had to move the brackets on the boards to match my bolt spacing on the body. These boards are perfect, the don't stick out past the tires and they don't hang down farther than the lowest skid plate.

Today I installed a set of Kolpin gun racks in the driver's side Rambox. Bummer that the latch sticks out so far that the second rack is unusable, but the problem didn't last long. My Mini-14 has an aftermarket stock and it fit perfectly in the space between the racks right next to the AR. $40 sure beats $250+!!

Stuck some laminX tint on the dogs. Always loved the look of yellow fogs. And these do not dissapoint!34ad0554fc4d276da6db86fdf1b462c9.jpg
Edit: I also opted to remove the fog lights completely from the truck since they are kinda sunken in.

Upgraded the rear lower control arms. Got some fun plans for the Rebel. Building a little bit at a time.

Picked up my new 2020 Ram 1500 Big Horn North Edition. 18x9 1 offset Fuel Contras wrapped in Falken Wildpeak AT3s 275/65/18 are on the way. Can't wait. Just hope they look good.IMG_0176.jpg InkedIMG_0177_LI.jpg CONTRA-6LUG-20x10-ET-18-GLOSS-BLK-N-MILLED-A1_1000_1012.png

Added the Deezee bedstep to my truck. Honestly I’m blow away by this one. I’ve had retractable steps in the past, this Deezee one doesn’t retract but it’s a fraction of the cost of those steps. Top of my list of useful truck mods.

I've been using my drop hitch but hooking to my gooseneck doesn't allow for that. That thing would make it possible to get in and out without going over the wheel. Bang your shin on it walking around edge of truck yet ?

No but I have my fair share of shin collision from the regular hitch. Step doesn’t stick out too far so not sure if you’ll hit its e6f53527e3cde683335c93fc9ea300bd.jpg

Installed some $33 door sill guards. Kids and dog were scratching the heck out of the door sill so figured I’d give these a shot. Pleasantly surprised so far.

Picked up my winter tires and got them installed on my second set of rims I picked up.
They are Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3’s.
Very highly rated. 4.9/5

Got the new Wheels. Fuel Contra's +1 Offset and Falken Wildpeak AT3W's (275/65/18). Wasn't sure about going with 18's, but I think it looks halfway decent.

Cleaned the inner and outer wheels yesterday. Also cleaned the tires.
Then put some wax on the wheels.

I wanted to clean the truck, but it showed rain on Monday, (today), and it did a little bit this morning. Glad I held out, I would have been pissed. lol
At least I got the wheels all cleaned up and protected.
