After spending the last few years building the truck of my dreams, a 2017 Ram 1500 SLT that I basically converted to a Sport, and after much debating, I finally traded it in today. I bought a 2019 Ram Sport! I pick it up on Saturday! View attachment 467389

Already has mopar running boards and a tonneau cover already installed on the truck, truck has 39,000kms, my 2017 had 148,000

Installed the Gator EFX tonneau cover yesterday.

Looks good now time to keep it going and delete the mirror chrome and get those bumpers painted! I know the struggle with chrome. Mine had a ton when I got it.

Had my truck a few days now, decided to put on the OEM 22’s with cooper discoverer at3 4s’s, as well as the rough country 3.5” lift kit with the 3.5” shocks all around, rims were from same year, it seemed to auto calibrate the speedometer, I went from 275/55r20 to 285/45r22, or the sizes were too close it made no difference

Wife didn't care for how 'slick' the OEM steps felt so sanded, cleaned, primed, and dabbed on two coats of Herculiner.

99% of the time I like it. I have hauled some brush recently where I was thinking damn, folding to the cab would be nice... However, it only takes a minute or two to remove completely so is that 1% of the time worth another $500?

I do like the fact that I can access the bed via the tailgate and not fiddle with the cover. If partial bed access is all you want, then I do recommend the Gator EFX. On the other hand, if full bed access is needed, then I'd go with the BAK MX4. The Gator FX3 is also full bed access, but you have to close the cover onto the tailgate so the MX4 wins in my mind.

In the last two weeks or so: the gas tank & master brake cylinder were swapped out under warranty and picked up/installed the lockbox for the center console. Seems pretty solid & went in easy enough except the 3 screws on the back being a pain since I couldn't see them. The only 'down' side is the key is the second-longest on my keychain after the house key.

Hooked my travel trailer to to the Ram and headed for the Oregon coast. Amazed how many Rams are on the road.

Sprayed some of the dirt off of it at car wash, fed the beast (gas) and also checked the fluids which I do every 2 weeks.
