Removed my Pedal Commander (PC31) from my truck. I've had it on my previous Ram (2018) and when I traded it in, I put it in my 2023. I just ordered the Banks Pedal Monster...so, I'm willing to let the Pedal Commander go for the incredibly low price of...send me a PM if you want it. I no longer have the little bracket. I had it just draped across my steering column and pushed the Y connector through the gap near the height adjust. Nothing wrong with it; threw a code (happens once in a while) and decided to go with Banks. When the code gets thrown I get a Throttle Body issue message. I turn off the truck, disconnect the Pedal Commander, going back to stock, and after a few restarts or a day, the check engine light clears itself.

Been off for a few days, medical issues. So I installed this today.

Literally took me five min. And if I was 20 years younger, and more flexible, could have had it done faster.

Nice. Do you just pop the button out from the front or push from the back? I'm curious. Thanks!

Just reach up behind the dash and push in the 3 clips holding the switch. Push it out towards the front, disconnect the wire harnes

Reverse the steps for the new switch, and push back into the original hole.

Remember to also remove the silver ring around the original and attach it to the new one.

If you can get your hand behind the dash, and feel the 3 clips you need to press and release. That is the toughest part.

There are a few videos on YouTube showing the installation. But the one I referenced and found 100 % correct was by NGen Performance.

I did not get my switch from them, but they carry it also.

I finished up the wiring and install of my HAM radio.

The interior had to come out to route power cables and coax. I'm glad I pulled everything out but man was it a time suck.

This time I went with the ICOM 7100 all mode radio to run UHF/VHF and HF with a single rig. The control head is separate and I can hide the main radio away making for a clean install. The main radio, Kenwood line filter and all wiring was routed under the front passenger seat. It's held well in place right where the jack used to be and is secured underneath with mobile strap. The center console was my first choice but it posed logistical challenges for future mods.

The control head is mounted to the dash using a Ram mount. The control cable is routed behind the center console and hidden from view and the mic is looped over the steering column. The Ram Mount is rock solid.

The UHF/VHF antenna is a Diamond NR770HBNMO mounted with a K400S on the driver hood. The HF antenna is a Tarheel Designs Little Tarheel Pro mounted with a Breedlove stake pocket mount. I went with the TuneMatic Lite to control the screwdriver and have been very pleased with its accuracy. Over 20' of coax was used for both antennas and I ended up going with Diamond prefab coax for ease of installation. My preference was to custom fab the coax but Diamond had a hell of a deal and I ended up with a little slack which I came to appreciate.

So far, so good and I'm a solid 5/9.

Installed PacBrake HP10596 oil filter relocation kit and Fumoto oil drain valve on my 22 1500 with 5.7L. Next oil change will be a breeze.

Details in this post.

I tried and failed to activate my remote start with alpha OBD. I think I did something wrong, or it just isn't connected.

Is the remote start on a completely different antenna than unlock and lock?

Made my shopping list for mine:

Amp research power step XL

Tonneau cover

5” black exhaust tips

The Pedal Commander

Black 4x4 tailgate emblems

Hopefully have 4 out of 5 done by the end of June.
I was looking into getting the pedal commander. There is another product called pedal monster. There is a video on their page comparing it with the pedal commander. Lots of useful information in the video that will help you choose the best one.
