I used to have a 2011 Fiesta with the Powershift (I got lucky with that one) as well as a 1984 Nissan 720 4x4 Custom Cab. What started as "it just needs a paint, tires and upholstery" fun project ended up being a rebuilt engine, clutch, a fuel pump and carb over the 3 years I owned it. This year I realized I couldn't keep up with the ********* relationship of getting this toy fully restored so I sold it and got the Ram 7 months ago. I couldn't be happier, no more unscheduled visits to the shop3b1efca11df3a37db0b45203bc3d51d4.jpg

I went from a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Crew cab 4x4. It pulled my toy hauler fine but it would struggle on long grades which was keeping me from going to Moab. Now I have a 2018 2500 Tradesmen and I am really liking it. I sacrificed some creature comforts but surprisingly, the Ram has other niceties that the Chevy didn’t. Plus, I’m finding out you ca basically almost any upgrade as a plug and play with little effort and maybe some reprogramming. Love the POWER!!

I was quite exclusive to GMC and CHEV for many years.

As of right now, in the driveway there are a Ram, Dakota, Tahoe, and an F150.
I can give a direct comparison of these in order of frequency of maintenance requirements.
Ram, most frequent then the
F150 followed by
Dakota
Tahoe being the most trouble free

I do like the Ram and Dodge products in general. However, due to constant misc incremental maintenance costs on them; I will be going back to GM as the vehicles cycle out. As for the Ford, when this one is gone come spring no other shall ever again disgrace the household parking lot.

I LOVED my 2007 Tundra. That was the most customized vehicle I drove and spent a ton of money on it but unfortunately I had to trade it in and bought the 2017. HATED the 2017.

LOVE my 2014 2500 now and have been slowly adding small mods here and there. I like the look of the 2500 as is so adding larger tires, leveling it, and a few other small items, I am where it needs to be in my eyes.

Not to sidetrac the thread, but I am interested in the model years of your fleet, and in particular, the types of problems with the Ram & F150. (I don't owne either brand at this point, but that may change later in the year).

I was a Chevy guy with a 2002 Silverado 2500 HD crew cab, traded it in on a 2015 Big Horn 1500 Quad cab, traded that in on my 2018 Big Horn Crew cab.
