I currently have my 17 Ram and my wife's 17 Challenger RT Shaker, more them happy with both. I switched to Dodge after the decline in quality of the Ford and GM Cars and trucks we owned. Always had a good experience with my Dodge purchases. Here is what we owned newest to oldest.

Before my 18 1500 QC 4x4 Eco Diesel I had a 2004 1500 4.7L 2wd Crew Cab. Nice truck but with 215K miles, crappy mileage, a second engine and the transmission about to blow I figured it was time to upgrade.

I usually keep them about 6-8 years. I had planned on keeping the Honda a lot longer, but pulled the trigger on a 2017 leftover now so it will be paid in full when daughter gets her car. I don't like having multiple car payments, so it was more a timing thing than anything else.

I do miss the comfort and storage of the Ridgeline, but the Ram definitely tows the boat easier.

I'm a value buyer, first truck was a 2002 Ram 1500 Quad cab Lone Star edition with a 5-speed manual, bought 9 months old for $16K and drove it for 11 years, loved that truck. Then in 2014 bought a very low mileage 2008 Lone star for $15K, didn't like it at all (too high off the ground, handling unconnected to the road, engine roared all the time, interior kind of plain). Right away found out I could get a 2013 Tradesman for $3K more with all the new technology (8-speed, 300 H.P. six cyl, rear camera, sprayed bed, locking tailgate, full dash instrumentation, ...). Bought one at the auction and still driving it today. Smoothness of the drive train is amazing. Love it even more than the first truck. Would still be driving the first one but climate control problems were too numerous and too expensive to fix, so sold it for $5500 to put in on a newer model. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet!

Personal trucks i have a 17 ram1500 limited in the garage that i bought some time ago. Driving an 11 ram1500 laramie that is my favorite truck to date. 06 ram3500 diesel slt before my 11 that I liked driving, but was by far my least reliable vehicle ever owned. 01 f350 diesel with a manual trans. Decent truck but wanted 4 doors and the ford crews were just too long to be dailys. 98 F150 that was decent and pretty reliable apart from problems with power windows. 97 F150 xl too bare bones. Nissan was my first truck. Quite a few different work trucks for various purposes as well mostly fords lately.

For the last 20 years I had a Ford F-250 Lariat. Honestly didn't think I would switch from Ford. Love my '19 Laramie and hope it lasts me another 20 years.

Had a couple of Fords.. But at the same time I had 7 Durango's so when it came time (270K Miles) I went with Ram. Why? Much better value.

Before my RAM, I had another RAM. Before that RAM, I had another RAM.

Before that, I had an IROC-Z and a Trans AM in high school and college.

Basically, all of my new vehicles I've purchased for me have been RAMs.

Almost had the wife talked into a new and big CTD to tow a 5th wheel, but she's not fond of the new RAM. If the new HDs look similar to 1500's, she'll go expedition (and we'll tow as big as my 2500 6.4 will comfortably handle). I know TMI...

I am a RAM guy...
(But I may turn into a Challenger dude depending on how gen 5 evolves)

Some new, used, driven under a year.

335d was my fav out of the bunch. Amazing car and power train. Tuned to 330 hp and 600 tq. Wrangler most reliable of the bunch.

Originally ordered the ecodiesel but changed to the hemi sport due to issues with the ED and delays in getting them. MPG is now rated in SPG (smiles per gallon)

Traded my 11 Sierra for my 17 Ram last December - zero regrets.

Going to buy a CJ-7 to tinker with next year, be cheaper than lifting my Ram and adding wheels/tires.

I had a 2015 Tacoma. loved that truck, but it ended up not being practical for me for what I use my truck for. 30,000 miles a year for work, that thing was getting me 13/14 MPG. Great truck, many trips to offroad parks throughout the southeast, camping, etc. Love my 16 ram 1500 ecodiesel, great mpgs, comfortable, etc.....will acquire an offroad toy to haul around hopefully in the near future. Couple pics from the day of the divorce. In the last pic, she is all stripped down and ready to trade :(
