Traded in a 2013 F-150 SVT Roush 6.2L V8 Raptor towards a 2019 2500 CTD Laramie Night Edition. The Raptor was a blast to drive but got terrible mileage and had poor payload, towing, and there were lots of little nuisances. LOVE my Laramie! Now to get out of recall purgatory...

I traded a 2017 Honda Accord coupe V6 6MT for my 2020 2500 Tradesman 4x4. The Accord was a blast to drive but sat in the garage more than was driven.

No regrets, just wish I did it sooner....!

It's funny how much capability changes in 10 years. Don't forget to post pictures of your new rig!

I plan on trading in my 07 2500 Laramie Mega Cab 4x4 with less than 100k for a 2020 Ram 3500 Mega Cab Laramie 4x4 DRW Night Edition on order. I need more payload and towing cap. It's time for an upgrade.

Traded a stock 2006 F150 with 245,000 miles for the used 17 White Bighorn with 10,500 miles. Made the WhytRam personalized to me and drove to 66,000 in 2.5 years.
Traded for a 19 classic with 30 miles. A classic so I could swap the keepable items! Just hit 8800 miles

I traded my 2016 Turbo Diesel 2500 with 40K miles on it in for a brand new 2019 Laramie Mega (only 8 miles on it). A lot of people do not trade in the diesels because they last for ever if taken care of so the dealer made me a deal I could not pass up!! Now I just have to starts all the MOD's.

A 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. That thing was a nightmare for recalls and oil leaks.

Traded my '05 1500 Quad Cab (bought new) for my 2019 2500 Tradesman:

Kinda miss the '05, but love the 2500. It had no rust and 89K miles. Mode door was broken in the heater box, pretty much all that was wrong with it. Was hard to justify trading it and assuming a car payment.

Traded my 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT with only 22,300 miles on it. Bought it new and was only a couple of payments from paying it off. Truly did love that car, but it didn't fit our lifestyle in the woods of Maine. Enjoyed driving the car, but I hated putting the miles on it. Dealer offered me $30k for the trade. I got in my SRT and left. Within 20 minutes I got a call saying they would give me $38k. Now that was more like it.

Bought a 2020 Power Wagon nearly fully loaded. I believe the only options it doesn't have are the second alternator and the Harman Kardon speakers. This truck has made me forget all about my SRT. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Only got $5k off sticker, but I got a hard tri-fold cover and the bed divider/extender included with the purchase. Would have liked a little more off the purchase price, but I got exactly what I wanted on the trade. Overall I feel like it was a fair deal for everybody, and I don't have to fork out more cash for the bed accessories I really wanted.

(this pic does not have the hard cover installed yet, and my wife is in the driver's seat)

Traded my 2005 F250 Super Duty XLT 5.4L 3V 4x4 crew for my now current 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.4L Hemi 4x4 crew. I had it for 9 years and was hoping to get another 4 out of it, but the tin worm had taken more of a toll on tail gate, front door bottoms, cab mounts and the front half of the frame than I had realized (until I went to do some under side repairs and said enough!). The old truck was a mid Atlantic (Northern truck) and served me wonderfully even though the 5.4L 3V engine was under powered and guzzled gas like a drunk guzzles beer. This Ram has power (4.10 gears help and the 6 speed is so much nicer than the old Ford 5 speed). I haven't had a chance to tow my trailer with it yet, but compared to the old truck, the unloaded ride is much better. Looking to have this one for ten years (rust here in south central Texas isn't much of a problem, but I will be doing NHOU treatment to it for the off chance of a winter time emergency trip to Connecticut in the future, my family is there, wife's family is here in Texas). My 87 F250 diesel made 310K before rusting out/blowing up, the 05 made it to 175K and was still in great mechanical condition. The goal with this one is 300K hopefully before any major component replacement or me buying something newer. (So I was torn in spending some of my Afghanistan money from 2019 on either a new Harley Ultra Limited or a newer truck, however the rust issues made the truck buy more important than another Harley)

2016 BMW 750. Most amazing car I've ever owned, but the warranty was up, and given some of the issues I had with it, no way Id want to own it out of warranty
