I agree the idea seems cheap. But I’ve had solid wheels that are chrome plated and they always pit and look like crap after multiple salty winters. funny enough with just normal car washing, the chrome clads on my Big Horn still look brand new. And I mean crystal clear still. So I don’t mind them seeing as how they’re holding up better than any actual chrome wheel I’ve had in the past. So at least they did it right. The only thing they could’ve done a little better was make the edge/rim less visible? either way I’ll take it over wheels that’ll be corroding after a handful of years.
